Nelsons held their first Annual Connect2Law Conference at Best Western Premier Yew Lodge Hotel in Kegworth on 14th October 2011 for law firms across the East Midlands to address the changing strategic landscape and opportunities available to practices now that the impact of the Legal Services Act is beginning to be felt. The event was well received by attendees, who listened to Nelsons' chief executive, Tim Hastings and managing director Chris Miller as well as guest speakers Jane Biggs, managing director of specialist legal recruitment firm Bygott Biggs and Susan Hallam from Hallam Communications.
