Marie Walls


Director & Connect2Law BDM

Marie qualified as a solicitor in 1996 and became a partner in 2001, before becoming a Director when the firm incorporated in 2010. Before being exclusively involved in business development, Marie specialised in personal injury matters with a specific emphasis on catastrophic injuries, criminal injuries and fatal accidents.

She was formerly the Chair and Director of Headway Derby and is a member of the Brain Injury Special Interest Group which is co-ordinated by Nottingham Traumatic Brain Injury Service. Marie is also a member of the Trent Strategic Health Authority Neurosciences Carers and Users Group.

Responsible for promoting the Connect2Law scheme to law firms across the East Midlands, Marie's role includes overseeing the running of the scheme at Nelsons and liaising with both potential and existing members.

Jane Stewart


Connect2Law Administrator

Jane has worked at Nelsons for 3 years and is responsible for the day to day running of Connect2Law. She handles all referrals that come in and keeps the referring firm up to date with the progress of the cases that we take on.

She is also responsible for the Connect2Law CPD seminar programme, organising speakers and dealing with the delegate bookings.

Liz Cole


Connect2Law Business Development Executive

Liz has worked at Nelsons for over 20 years and dealt with the firm's Connect2Law referrals for over 2 years before becoming a Business Development Executive in 2010.

She supports Marie Walls in promoting Connect2Law to law firms across the East Midlands, although her primary role is to build relationships and liaise with existing members.
